British illustrator Alex T. Smith does not focus on fat people; but like many illustrators he draws people of all sizes, including fat people.
Many of Smith’s fat drawings are of older people; and most sketches are of women. But there are examples of fat men and fat younger people.
I enjoy examples of Smith’s art that show people of varying sizes, genders, and ages in a group. It shows that people come in all sizes, and I haven’t found any portrayals of fat people that I would consider negative because of size. Even his fat people come in different sizes and shapes – just like real fat people.
The simplicity and diversity are truly charming.
